A cooler day today without rain and a leisurely start in our 11,000 steps excursion to the markets down near Bastille. Flashy has taken a bit of ribbing from Lady P because of his new parker. Personally, I like the endangered Arctic wolf fur trim. Also, as France is so woke about the environment, I reckon the coat is filled with rare shaved baby chinchilla fur and H & M were so desperate to offload it, we got a bargain.

Anyway, off we head on our quest for a small supply of fruit and veg. The markets were very typical of the suburban markets, with very little English spoken and no obvious tourists. We got by with Fronglaise and patient French locals. It was also very much like a market in Cairns. It was also very clean. We got our beautiful veges for Flashy to make more soup and a nice slice of terrine de lapin and a variety of sausages for dinner tonight.

We sample a jambon et fromage crepe, grab a coffee at a little café and metro home via our local patisserie. Flashy buys his first éclair of the trip!

Well, tonight we discovered that the apartment has a home movie set up. Screen is 3m x 1.5 m, yes Tas, that's 3000 mm x 1500 mm. Big enough you reckon? Watching Will Smith is a movie (Diversion) in English with French titles. Very educational.
